By downloading, accessing, or using the Fridgify mobile application and related services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Fridgify grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
The Service allows you to store information about groceries, shopping lists, and kitchen inventory (“User Content”). You retain all rights to your User Content.
User Content is stored locally on your device and may be synced securely if you use group or sync features. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and for keeping backups where appropriate.

The Service (excluding User Content) and all related intellectual property rights are owned by the developer or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.
The Service may change over time. Features may be added, modified, or removed. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Fridgify provides organizational tools (e.g., reminders, dates, and lists). It does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional advice, and you remain responsible for your decisions and food safety.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or €0 if you did not pay). Please note that payments made within the app are voluntary contributions to support development and do not unlock additional features.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health).
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms or if we must do so to comply with law or protect the Service.
Because the Service is primarily local-first, terminating access may affect synced or group features but does not automatically remove data stored on your device. You are responsible for managing and deleting local data through your device settings or within the app (where available).
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle information and what choices you may have. Please review it carefully.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer and mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply, those protections remain unaffected.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the app or by other reasonable means.
